Dear Santa...

Today my friend Sarah and I took the boys to visit Santa.  It was all smiles on the way to the mall and inside, but everything changed when we got by the bearded fellow.  Here's how it went down:

Everything's going great...Graham and his buddy Drew
are all set for fun with Santa

Bah hum bug.  Who is this Santa person, anyway?

Get me out of here now!

All in all it was a really fun trip.  We even did a little shopping afterwards.  And we got some memorable pictures!!!

Turkey Day 2008

We had a great time visiting everybody in Houston.  Graham played with his cute cousins, Cameron and Spencer, the whole time, and he's still recovering from all the fun!  The weather was much warmer than we'd anticipated, but that was ok with us.  We threw on our flip flops and went to the park every day.  Graham was very happy to be outside again after a few weeks of cold weather here.  He even said "nanna" and "boompa", and thought the latter was a particularly funny word, which he's still getting a kick out of!

Crazy Hair

Who knew naptime could wreak such havoc on your 'do?!  Graham woke up from his nap the other day with a semi-mohawk.  When he saw it in the mirror, he too thought it was funny.   I thought the pictures were too good not to post!

Computer Whiz

We had our final class at the library this morning, until after the holidays when they start back up again.  The class has been lots of fun for Graham, but his favorite part is always the time before and after class when he plays on the computers in the children's room.  It can cause a commotion if the computers are already in use!  But lucky for us, Graham got one all to himself today.  And no one was going to come between him and that keyboard!!

Nuk Caper

These pictures are from a couple nights ago when Graham thought it was hilarious to bite on the outside of his pacifier (nuk) attempting to fit it all in his mouth at once.  We were both in stitches.  He loves sharing his nuk with his teddy bear in his bed, or even with Barney on tv.  And he's been hugging everything from his stuffed animals to his friends.  What a nice boy!

We had a fun night on Friday trick-or-treating, and Graham even went to his first Halloween party at his friend Drew's.  It was lots of fun!  But mommy didn't get any pictures :(  Then we went to a few houses for candy, but he was so tired, he started to fall asleep on Daddy's shoulder.  So we called it a night.

Doggie Games

Higgins and Graham are becoming good friends, now that our beloved dog is finally starting to relax when Graham is in the room.  Who can blame him when Graham's favorite game used to be grab the tail!  His new favorite game is to sneak into the pantry and grab a handful of dog food for his buddy.  They were up to their usual tricks this morning (playing chase and take away) so I decided to take some pictures.

Monkey Business

Our neighborhood had its annual Halloween parade this past weekend.  Graham got a chance to try out his costume.  He's a monkey this year.  He really liked it, and kept trying to eat the fake banana in his pocket!  I'm sure he will find better things than that when we go trick or treating Friday night.

Graham with his friend Jack

Graham found his favorite thing - a bulldozer - on the street.
He was ready to get behind the wheel!
